In dance music, a "re-edit" usually consists of looping the most rhythmic or beat-oriented parts of a song to make it playable as a dance track. This video, particularly inspired by Theo Parrish's Ugly Edits series, applies that concept to the Frank Tashlin-directed 1960 Jerry Lewis film Cinderfella. Through looping and juxtaposition, the video attempts to reorient our understanding of Lewis's physical comedy as a dance performance, and also to underline the class themes prevalent in this film and in Lewis's work as a whole.
